They write with flair, making it easy for people to be drawn into what they are saying about your business, services or products. Read an an example of good copywriting for a fictitious Sydney Mercedes Dealer, or just "ok" website copy for a Used Mercedes dealer.

News, Blog and Article index page
You may have noticed some changes to search results in Google recently. Google now includes "as they happen" results in its index from sources such as Twitter, Facebook, other social media websites, and sources of news which Google deems to be reliable.

A good example of this is recently the website for Aussie rockers Black Label disappeared altogether from the SERPs (search engine results pages) after being #2 in Google for "black label", and #1 for "black label australia" for a long time. This happened because of a not too uncommon oversight - the domain was due for renewal, but the email address on the account had not been updated.

Website Disappeared
Unfortunately, the oversight went unnoticed just long enough for Google to dump it from the index - completely!

Anyway, after jumping through a few hoops, the domain was finally renewed, but Google needed a nudge in the right direction.

Among others methods, we added a press release to Newsmaker. Within minutes of the press release going live, Google had indexed the page.

You can see the Newsmaker.com.au news result in image panel #1 (click to enlarge). Also note that the blacklabel.com.au website was not visible in the results at that time.

In the second image (click to enlarge), you can see where blacklabel.com.au had returned to it "normal" position - #2 for "black label".

Timeline

Site disappeared from index: mid-November
Domain renewed: 03.12.09
Site cached by Google: 05.12.09
Newsmaker press release added: 09.12.09
blacklabel.com.au re-appears in SERPs: 12.12.09
