Copywriting
A good copywriter knows which words
trigger the feelings that compel people to make decisions. They write with
flair, making it easy for people to be drawn into what they are saying about
your business, services or products. Read an an example of good copywriting for a

In what was a first for Australian television, tonight Channel Ten broadcast
3D content in a segment of its very popular game show, "Talkin' 'Bout Your
Generation".
Hosted by Shaun Micallef, the show has been a ratings winner for Channel Ten, and rightly so - it's hilarious and
makes for good family viewing.
To see the 3D TV content on "Talkin' 'Bout Your Generation", you needed a pair of
Cyan/Magenta (Blue/Red) glasses, which unfortunately many people would not have
simply "lying around". If you are a reader of TV Week, you would have been
right, or if you're like me, you have any 3D DVDs (eg like Journey to the Centre of the
Earth and Shrek 3D), you would probably already have a pair.
I have to say, I was impressed with the quality of Channel Ten's 3D segment,
however the colours weren't as vibrant as they perhaps could have been..
The segment they chose for the broadcast, called "Era Error", was perfect; it
had quite a few props which gave the illusion of objects and people coming right
at you. Seagulls flying around, surf boards being poked at you, bottles and
bread being thrown towards you (the "$400,000" camera), and beach balls being tossed back and forth.
To see an excerpt of the 3D segment, play the video below, or to view the
episode in full, please visit the Channel Ten website.
Note you will need blue/red 3D glasses.
There has been quite a bit of buzz about 3D TV lately, and a lot of experts
suggest many homes in Australia will have 3D televisions by the end of 2010.
Japan has been broadcasting 3D programming since 2008 on one of its cable
channels, and several popular US shows have been broadcast in 3D as well; shows
such as Medium and 3rd Rock From The Sun.
How many people prepared to become early adopters of 3D television in Australia
is yet to be seen, but I don't think it will be quite as popular as some experts
are saying. I think I'll just sit back and wait to see how much content is
produced (production costs for 3D content is astronomical - at the moment), and
see what issue arise with the early 3D TV models.
