Itech Corporation has built a reputation for providing fully integrated electromechanical systems to industry and utilities. The electromechanical engineering services provided by Itech include design, drawings, manufacture, installation and commissioning; all provided by in-house expertise in project management, engineering design, cabinet manufacture and electrical installation services for LV (415V) applications.

In essence, when it comes to electromechanical design and construction, Itech Corporation is a true "one-stop-shop".

Electromechanical engineering award Their capability is to complete electrical engineering projects up to $2million in value with all key elements of the work executed by Itech in-house employees. They augment their electrical engineering skills with their in-house systems engineering team who specialize in control systems, mechatronics and automation projects and have excellent skills in the leading technology platforms such as Rockwell Automation, Siemens and Schneider.

The capability to integrate all of these services with the appropriate skills and experience sets Itech Corporation apart from many of their competitors who can only do a subset of what Itech can do. They retain their quality levels by targeting projects up to $2million, commensurate with their resources and financial objectives.

Following are just two excellent examples of the integrated electrical engineering propositions from Itech Corporation at work successfully:

1. Nulon - Oil Blending Plant

In 2007, Itech Corporation was approached to submit our offer for an exciting green-fields project for Nulon, an Australian company specialising in the blending of oils and additives for improved automotive engine performance.

Nulon The brief from the consultants, ME Engineering included, electrical engineering, switchboard design and manufacture, control panel design and manufacture, process instrumentation installation, plant network with integration between the business system and the plant SCADA system, plant wide SCADA system, blending system software application, PLC systems and sensor networks.

Of the 5 companies asked to tender the project, Itech Corporation was the only company that could offer the complete suite of integrated services required with in-house personnel. Itech was awarded the contract and the project became one of their showpieces. Itech were so proud of their achievements on this project, they put the project forward for consideration for a Zenith Award. Guess what? They WON the award!

2. CSR-PGH Bricks - Kiln System Upgrade

In 2008, Itech Corporation was approached by CSR-PGH Bricks to assist them in developing a functional specification for the electrical engineering work associated with a major upgrade to one of their kilns at their Cecil Park plant in NSW.

CSR-PGH The scope of works was to develop a definitive design for the electrical engineering aspects of the works, suitable for being issued to prospective tenders. We executed this work in time and on-budget and also tendered the works subsequently.

Itech's in-depth understanding of the requirements of the project and the excellent working relationship they had developed with the client's personnel provided them with the platform to be successful, and subsequently awarded the project work. The project was an outstanding success and was delivered on budget and on time. Itech encouraged CSR-PGH Bricks to put the project forward for the Zenith Awards. Guess what? Another WIN!
