They write with flair, making it easy for people to be drawn into what they are saying about your business, services or products. Read an an example of good copywriting for a fictitious Sydney Mercedes Dealer, or just "ok" website copy for a Used Mercedes dealer.

With the introduction of faster Internet access and cheaper plans for mobile devices (PDAs and mobile phones) in Australia, increasingly more and more people will be using these tools to browse the Internet and conduct business in 2008.

If you have ever used your mobile to browse a "normal" website, you will notice it usually takes forever to load, and the way it displays on your phone is not very user friendly. "Normal" websites are not designed to be viewed on mobile devices. However, there is a solution.

There are set guidelines (standards) to design a mobile-enabled website which caters to the requirements of a mobile or PDA, and that also complies with the W3C (www.w3c.org) standards for mobile website development.

It is also important that you have a mobile TLD or Top Level Domain, which is identifiable by its unique 4 character extension of .mobi

From all reports, access to websites via mobile devices will skyrocket in 2008, so if your business can benefit from being accessed by a mobile browser, now is the time to consider at least a basic mobile-ok website. There is an optimisation benefit derived from running a mobile enabled website as well, however for a lot of businesses, it is unlikely (at least in the short term) you would actually NEED a .mobi website.

Please note that it is not necessary to have a .mobi address to have a mobile-ok website, however, it has been reported that major mobile phone manufacturers will eventually configure their phones with the .mobi extension built into their units, which will reduce the address by NINE keystrokes!

Businesses that would benefit are ones where people would have a need to access whilst "out and about", or perhaps visiting another city or town.

For example:

You get the idea.
