Z-Gen is probably the first online magazine, or e-zine, directly targeting members of the Generation Z demographic.

What is the Z Generation?

I'm glad you asked. You could say that Generation Z includes children to young adults up to their very early 20's. The font of all knowledge, Wikipedia, states that the Z Generation is:
... also known as Generation M, the Net Generation, or the Internet Generation) is a common name in the US and other Western nations for the group of people born from the early 1990s through to the present.

The generation has grown up with the World Wide Web, which became increasingly available after 1991. The youngest of the generation were born during a minor fertility boom around the time of the US Global financial crisis of the late 2000s decade, ending around the year 2010, with the next unnamed generation succeeding. They have been born and raised after the Cold war era and the fall of the Soviet Union.

Members of Generation Z are typically the children of Generation X; their parents may also include the youngest Baby Boomers as well as the oldest members of Generation Y.

What does www.z-gen.com.au provide for this generation?

The concept of z-gen.com.au is quite simple. Its mission is to provide Australian (initially) Z-Gen's with their own portal that gives them access to News, Technology, Music, Video, Reviews, Events and various peer-based services.

The content of the website will be sourced from the site owner/editor, as well as various contributing sources within that demographic.

The site has a "Submit Article" form that allows children, teens and young adults to contribute articles they feel may be relevant to their peers.

So, if you are a member of Gen Z, or feel you can contribute in some way, please visit the website at www.z-gen.com.au.
