They write with flair, making it easy for people to be drawn into what they are saying about your business, services or products. Read an an example of good copywriting for a fictitious Sydney Mercedes Dealer, or just "ok" website copy for a Used Mercedes dealer.

What, you may ask, does mouthwash have to do with website design, SEO, or any other I.T. related matter? Well, nothing really - unless of course you want to have fresh breath when you meet with clients or mingle with co-workers. And besides, I do say this section is also about opinions - well here is my opinion about one particular brand of mouthwash.

You may have seen the ads on television for Dently pH which comes in two flavours: "Smooth Mint", and "Refreshing Clove". I first discovered this brand a couple of years ago, and have used it ever since.

Mouthwash The first thing you notice is the unique colour separation in both of the two flavours ("Refreshing Clove" is my favourite). Before use, you first have to shake the bottle vigorously to mix the two parts.

The bottom part of the formula, according to the company, is a water base containing an anti-bacterial, food colour, and flavour.

The top part is oil based, which has something to do with electro-static attraction of micro-organisms.

Unlike other mouthwashes such as Listerine mouthwash, Dentyl pH does not have a "burning" sensation when you use it - there is no alcohol. Both flavours are very gentle and refreshing.

Once you have followed the directions and swished it around in your mouth, you then, of course, expel the fluid into the basin (I thought that would sound better than "spit it out"). This is when you actually see Dentyl pH has done its job.

The two parts of the mouthwash mixed together and swished around seem to attract all the micro-organisms (bacteria) in your mouth - and once expelled, are visible in the basin in what seem to be strands of an oily substance.

I was so impressed with this product, I actually bought a large bottle (500ml) and gave it to my dentist, who at that stage had never heard of it, to try. Come to think of it, perhaps she should be the one giving me gifts - have you seen dental bills lately?

Price wise, Dently pH costs about the same as other brands - if not cheaper in some places. I have noticed some larger stores do not carry it anymore, but it is available online and at many pharmacies etc. around Australia.

As for healthy and gums teeth and oral hygiene in general, my suggestions are:

Brush twice per day - use a good quality toothpaste (Sensodyne is my pick)
Drink plenty of tap water (yes - not bottled water)
Visit the dentist twice per year - prevention is better and cheaper than cure
Use a good quality mouthwash

Finally, in summary, if you are thinking "what the...?" - give me a break - it was a slow day!
