Live Musicfest featuring Black Label, Rockfest & others

A show of hands please - who likes good, honest live rock and roll?

Coming up in September is Live Musicfest to be held at Menai, in Sydney. Not only will it be a great day musically, but proceeds will go to help CareFlight.

The stellar line up for the event includes Black Label, Rockfest, Highway To Hell (the AC/DC Show), Midnight Ramblers, Christina Crofts, and more.

I know what you're probably saying - who are these people? Lets start with Black Label.

Black label is a high energy, hard-hitting and dedicated Sydney rock and roll outfit fronted by the late Ted Mulry's brother, Steve Mulry. If you like classic, great Aussie "pub rock", you will LOVE Black Label.

They recently supported The Angels on the NSW leg of their tour, and gained many new fans along the way.

I've seen the guys live at several public gigs, plus a few private parties, and I have to say, they are simply awesome. Steve's vocals are powerful and tuneful, and the band is tight and... well, simply FANTASTIC!

Rockfest is a rock band whose female lead singer, Koby Lee, is a friend of mine. I've admired Koby ever since I first heard her sing a couple of years ago. We have so much talent in Australia - its scary!

Anyway, Koby may be petite, but her size belies the fact she has powerful, punchy vocals, plus she is the quintessential "rock chick" - hot, spicy, and talented.

There are more musicians on the day, but I know the above artists and their music, so you can be assured of a great time.
