Vehicle Tracking Systems - Ezitrak

If you drive, ride, or sail, no doubt you've considered that at some point your pride and joy may be the subject of theft. Locks, alarms and other anti-theft devices only go so far in protecting a vehicle.

However, with GPS vehicle tracking systems, you can be instantly told about your vehicle's position, and even control the vehicle from your location.

Ezitrak, an Australian owned, designed & manufactured device, is a unique, interactive & affordable anti-theft GPS/GSM Tracking & Control System suitable for a huge range of vehicles, including cars, trucks, motorcycles, and marine, as well as plant & equipment applications.

Ezitrak vehicle tracking devices incorporates high performance GPS receivers and provides real time, accurate position coordinates to within approx 6-10 meters (20ft), in addition to speed and heading readings.

Live data is communicated to you using the cellular mobile GSM phone network by way of a simple phone call, much the same way as your mobile phone operates.

The following three (3) communication techniques will alert you of an event and are interactive for immediate remote control:

• Voice (guaranteed priority delivery by all networks)
• SMS/Text (as back up) and
• Data (either CSD or Internet GPRS for live tracking & control).

Voice communication

Verbally over the phone, voice menu selections will provide you with distance, speed & heading from either home base or your last parked position. Alternatively, GPS co-ordinates are provided which can be referenced to a paper or software map or free website, and a location name referenced to the nearest cell site. Using the same menu selection method, you can sound the horn/siren, immobilise the vehicle or request status information.

SMS Communication

Send SMS text commands to your Ezitrak - Bikebandit for return SMS with location information, status reports or confirmation of activated commands.

CSD DATA

This is Ezitrak's direct PC connect, modem to modem interface. Using their "dial back" method, you simply SMS your Ezitrak - Bikebandit unit requesting a connection to be established directly with your PC & landline modem. On connection, the current status & setting for your Ezitrak - Bikebandit unit will be shown on screen, allowing you to change settings, update information, live track & control your vehicle. With a suitable map, you are also able to view your vehiclelive on a moving map display (not available in the USA or Canada).

Ezitrak Costs

The above three methods of control and tracking are available to you at the cost of cellular telephone calls either to or from the unit. As you own the SIM card, call costs are billed to you by your carrier. Mapping is an optional extra cost if required.
